As we move through the winter months, we are pleased to offer a variety of ways to connect, learn, and pray together. From online discussions on ethics and artificial intelligence to local group meetings in Edinburgh and Worcester, there is plenty to get involved with this February.
CiS activities
Join us for our core meetings and local group events:
- Thinking fair with Revd Dr Lucas Mix: An online session taking place on Tuesday, February 3rd.
- CAKE meeting: Our “Coffee and Knee-on-Education” online gatherings will be held at 11:00 am on February 6th and 19th.
- Science and faith: Method or madness? Join the CiS Worcester group for an in-person event on Tuesday, February 17th.

- Technology for the marginalised: A hybrid event (online and in-person in Cambridge) occurring on February 26th (with a follow-up on March 26th).

This month, we ground our reflections in Psalm 111:2:

A prayer for our community: Lord, we thank You for the community of believers called to the lab, the field, and the classroom. May our research be our worship, and our scientific integrity be a bridge that connects the Church to the wonders of Your creation. Grant us the grace to support one another, reflecting Your light to our colleagues as we uncover the patterns of Your handiwork together.
