Dr Andrew Jackson

Andrew graduated in the early 80s with a MA in Zoology from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Reading. He then pursued a 30-year career in commercial medical technology, initially in the lab, developing novel biomaterial and cell-based therapies for wound care and orthopaedics applications, and then in various management roles, including business development at two of the Cambridge-based consultancy firms.

More recently, Andrew returned to university to take an Advanced Diploma and MPhil in Theology at the University of Cambridge, and a PhD in Science-Engaged Theology at the University of Nottingham. He is now a Research Associate at The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion, Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham, and Editor of the journal Science and Christian Belief.
