Call for shorts – Enjoying Science CiS Annual Conference
Christians in Science (CiS) is officially inviting submissions for our ‘Short…’ talk sessions at this year’s annual conference. We are looking for creative, original presentations (10–12 minutes long) on any topic related to the study or positive promotion of science and Christianity. Whether it’s a traditional academic piece, a report on a church outreach project, or a completely new idea, we want to hear your passions, successes, and insights. Wonder, wow, worship – Satellites 2026
Please keep our team in your prayers as they head to the Satellites Youth Festival this month. We will be celebrating the cross over of science and faith with over 4000 young people and their leaders across the week.
We will be delivering a hands-on science zones, a planetarium and a pop-up observatory. We are incredibly grateful for the generous funding from Scientists in Congregations, but we need your help to bring this vision to life. Each month we are diving back into the Thinking About archive and considering how each of these topics are still relevant to us today. This month we are highlighting our Thinking About Creation Care resource. If you’ve not seen it before – please enjoy. If you have, consider sharing it with someone new who may be interested.

“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” – Genesis 2:15
We humbly confess our failures, where our greed and neglect have brought harm to our world. Lord, grant us wise and faithful hearts to care for the world You have entrusted to our keeping. Amen
