In this month’s update we have a number of exciting online and regional gatherings, including a prayer meeting, a CAKE network event for science-faith communicators, and Worcester’s “Planet Narnia” series. We also have our hybrid 2026 CiS Annual Conference, “Enjoying Science,” taking place in Swindon this October with a diverse panel of expert speakers.

Science and Christian Belief (S&CB) is the UK’s leading academic journal at the intersection of science and Christian faith. From 1st July 2026 the journal will move to an Open Access mode of publishing for both readers and authors!
In the months ahead we are celebrating our recent funding, award by Scientists in Congregations, to deliver activities at the Satellites Festival in August. We take a look ahead to a number of other events taking place across the summer. We are also highlighting our next archived resource from the Thinking About series and praying for guidance and rest during the busy summer months.
Christians in Science has been awarded funding by Scientists in Congregations to run a youth project at the Satellites Youth Festival in August 2026. Further funding is still required, so if you are interested and able to provide financial support, please head to our donation page.
In the months ahead, Christians in Science is involved with a number of events including our regular prayer meeting and the Satellites Event at Bath and West Showground. We are also looking back at our Thinking About series and prayering for guidance and rest during the busy summer months.
In May, Christians in Science is hosting online prayer meetings and lectures on science and theology. New conference recordings are now available on YouTube, and the community is asked to pray for students preparing for final exams.
