How to join

You can become a member of CiS, and receive:

• A subscription to the CiS journal, Science and Christian Belief
• Regular newsletters (PreCiS)
• 10% off books
• Free registration for the first conference that you attend
• Your money will also be supporting our work among students and young scientists.

Full members are Christians with a scientific training or an interest in science who sign the membership declaration (statement of faith).

Associate members: CiS is an explicitly Christian society and full membership is open only to those who can affirm the statement of faith. Corporate bodies such as libraries and individuals who do not wish to make this declaration are welcome to become associate members.

Graduate members are Christians with a scientific training or an interest in science, who have graduated (from their first degree) within the last five years, who sign the membership declaration.

Student members Christians who are school or university students  studying science (or with an interest in science) who are engaged in full-time study and who sign the membership declaration.

Free student membership is available for one year, for all Christian students studying science or with an interest in science (school or post/undergraduate university students engaged in full-time study).

Associates are organisations, or individuals who do not wish to join CiS but who do wish to receive Science and Christian Belief and other CiS literature. Associates pay the same subscription as members.

Annual subscription rates

Full members £30
Graduates £20
Students £5 after one year

Annual membership runs from April to April. New members who join between April and December receive both copies of the journal, while those who join between January and March do not pay any subscription until the April of that year.
